Review of R5 Co-Lab Co-working Space in Lansdale, Pennsylvania

Share

I wanted to take a moment to write a quick review of the R5 Co-Lab co-working space in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. I understand that I left the space abruptly due to a personal medical issue, but wanted to take the time to write a honest review about a great co-working space run by Mike S.

I joined R5 Co-Lab shortly before the month end in December 2023 at a prorated rate before January 2024. I was very impressed by the price points compared to other local options and the amenities provided by the management.

The R5 Co-Lab space was in the middle of some great expansions and opportunities for the local community including the addition of the R5 Annex a conference room and community meeting room open to the public and members.

R5 Co-Lab featured several service options including, but not limited to, hot seats, dedicated desks, and dedicated offices at competitive if not cheaper rates than Doylestown, Souderton, Perkasie, and Newtown.

They also had coffee from the Backyard Beans company, access to Tea, filtered cold/hot water, toaster oven, microwave oven, fridge for members, a fridge for the community, community events, and more.

About twice a month they had community events to bring everyone together such as a Happy Hour and a lunch, either outside the building or take out/in. They also had a discount offering at the time of this writing were members would receive $2 off their lunch from 11 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday, at the Lansdale Tavern. (Please remember to tip your waiter or waitress based on the pre-discount amount to get very good service)

In terms of social interactions I had absolutely zero issues with any of the members within the units or community of R5 Co-Lab including newer members regardless of which setups they paid for (or company paid for).

Mike, the community manager, also was great at listening to feedback about the community space, making improvements, and Mike and his father went above and beyond constructing and improving the space even on weekends including installing a Bike Rack, and adding to the space of the building.

I understand it might be a disappointment that I left unexpectedly from the co-working space for various reasons outside of everyone’s control but it is important for myself to focus on my mental and physical health.

I have to learn to spend some time healing from home.

Thank you Mike and to R5 Co-Lab for allowing me the time to work from your wonderful space!
