TorahBank.com is a revolutionary website that allows anyone to do kiruv on a mass scale with the click of a button!
Led by leading kiruv rabbis, – Rabbi Yosef Mizrachi, Rabbi Yaron Reuven and Rabbi Alon Anava, torahbank.com is projected to make hundreds of thousands or even millions of baaley teshuvas (Jews returning to their religion).
We are creating this campaign to help pay towards the building of this website as well as advertising. The more money we raise, the more we can invest in adversting, which means the more people we will bring to the site, which means making more baale teshuvas!
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity! You can gain a tremendous share in Olam Haba right now by being a founder of this site and get credit for each person that comes to this site and learns Torah!
You may never find an opportunity like this again!
By using affiliate marketing, people share their personal links with family and friends. The one who shares his link with others can sign into his account and see who signed up and see the accumulation of Torah being learned via the lectures.
This chain goes down to unlimited levles. Example, A shares with B, B shares with C, C shares with D. When A signs in he will see B, C and D in his dashboard and all of the time they learned.
Using a marketing affiliate plugin that was already purchased I used the power of SQL database queries and computer science data structures to build not only a tree of referral information to track the users that were referred to the TorahBank web site from a single user, but also built a way to track the amount of videos they watched to show how much a single user could make a difference.
Using a custom SQL database structure and custom plugin I was able to create a simple accomplishments timeline similar to microblogging with a twist. A user may share accomplishments with their referrals and affiliates within a single page, similar to Twitter, and include links to videos and other resources that helped them on any single minute, day, or hour. All communications are live time and are at a per-user level unlike other WordPress plugins that provide microblogging.
My development environment changes quite frequently between my Mac and Windows PC. I use Docker, VMware Workstation, Hyper-V and Parallels Desktop to provide a powerful Docker containerized environment to manage all the code.
Using WordPress’ system of metadata (using NoSQL) and live tracking in the browser by the use of a heartbeat we are able to track how much video various users watched on the TorahBank web site for all the lecture videos provided.
I provide customized backup services for the TorahBank project that I am actively working on to keep their code, database, and other components of their site safe.
Using Dropbox allows collaboration, hosting, and viewing of videos without tying up expensive web site cloud hosting resources meant for actual code and server side scripts.
Using Contact Form 7 and Contact Form 7 Database TorahBank will soon be automating workflows for lecture uploads from the general public using the WordPress Dashboard.
Using WordPress’ Plugin Infrastructure there are many custom plugins written exclusively for TorahBank to help aid with content production, exclusive content, logins, affiliate tracking, and more.
Currently TorahBank is using cPanel based hosting powered by GoDaddy. GoDaddy allows resources to be upgraded as we expand our web site making it easy to expand with the click of a button. GoDaddy introduced several new technologies to allow us to upgrade our plan as our site progresses including up to dedicated server resources when the time is right. GoDaddy’s cPanel Hosting also allows us to have flexible control while maintaining a secure, safe, and well performing environment while focusing on the actual development of the site instead of the server detail and manual configuration.
Currently TorahBank uses Google Analytics for advertisement and marketing tracking powered by custom dimensions, event triggers, and several other custom coded Google Analytics functions powered by some of the very same tracking features on my personal web site. Google Analytics allows TorahBank to track advertising and to see how many of our users come from advertisements or other marketing related materials.
TorahBank will offer points for each referral and social interaction, including comments, with the TorahBank web site. Points will be credited per user and kept in a history table inside the WordPress MySQL database. Points will be redeemable for various gifts and prizes to be determined at a later date.
